Davidoff of Geneva - The Mother Store is the legendary original flagship store founded in 1911 by Henri Davidoff after he immigrated to Switzerland from Kiev, Ukraine. Located on Rue de Rive in Geneva's luxury shopping district, this roughly 1,000-square-foot boutique is where the Davidoff brand was born and where cigar history was made. The store was refurbished in 2015 to incorporate Davidoff's global design concept 'Davidoff of Geneva - Since 1911' while honoring its rich heritage. The 322 square-foot walk-in humidor features a unique ceiling covered in real tobacco leaves, meant to emulate a cigar production environment in the Dominican Republic where all Davidoff cigars are rolled. Earth tones and lush woods dominate the retail space, combining to recall the colors of cigar wrappers, accentuated by shades of copper and a stunning 'Light Forest' chandelier that pays homage to tropical Dominican flowers. The store offers the complete Davidoff portfolio including the White Band Collection (Signature, Grand Cru, Aniversario, Millennium), Black Band Collection (Escurio, Nicaragua, Yamasa), Winston Churchill Collection, Limited Editions, Year of Editions, and Small Cigars. As the birthplace of Zino Davidoff's vision and the place where Dr. Ernst Schneider took over in 1970 to create the global Davidoff brand, this store represents 113 years of cigar excellence and Swiss luxury.
